Sesame Chicken

Went to the 10th Malaysia International Food & Beverage Trade Fair Mifb’09. A lot of food tasting there, me and my colleague had our lunch just by food tasting, means our lunch for today is totally FOC~ hohohohohohohoho…

Then there’s one booth which is selling Penang (Ghee Hiang Sesame Oil). After the 2 gals bought one bottle of sesame oil each, and they aver that it’s cheaper to get at the fair than if purchase it outside, so I also “mmm chap shu” ter-beli satu (Minyak Lenga Tulin Ghee Hiang) for myself too… (yeah I’m indeed a shopaholic)

But shit~ for a innocent boy like me… mana laa I tau macam mana nak masak… mee magi ok laa, but I dah buy that sesame oil… so I deep down in my heart I determined to cook my own dinner for me and my house mates~ (yeah, so the good kan to have me as housemate)

So~ here you go… my 1st cooking blog~ hehe. So excited~ I shall name this post as

“Cooking Sesame Chicken for beginners~ 100% guaranteed delicious~”

This is the sesame oil~

The main ingredient~ "Old Ginger" this will make the sesame oil become so fragrant I bet your neighbor will pengsan kelaparan if they smell the sesame oil frying this old ginger.

Some other ingredient such as chicken, garlic, pepper, light soya sauce, dark soya sauce, and sugar.
1. you start with 3 spoon of sesame oil~ goreng with the ginger 1st... goreng laa till it become so wangi + wangi + wangi~
2. then u put in the garlic and toss toss 5 times.
3. put in the chicken... toss toss toss for 20 times slowly...
4. pour in a bowl "those bowl which u use to makan rice one" of hot water... then toss toss for 10 times.
5. add in the seasoning (light/dark soya sauce, pepper and also sugar) i think the light soya sauce can add in a-bit more as the sesame oil is quite bitter in taste... sugar also add in banyak sikit...
6. let it shimmer for 10 ~ 15 minutes... depends on how big is ur chicken laa...
Tadaa~~ the chicken is ready to be served~ yum yum~ how how? easy kan? tak susah one~
(the additional vege my housemate cook to "Ga Liu")
~Dinner is served~
Had Kiwi Fruit as dessert...
